WHAT TO EXPECT

 

JLR currently have a new and exciting opportunity for an accomplished Digital Product Owner to play a key role in the Commercial function. You will be working alongside the Wider Web, Marketing and Commercial Technology Teams to deliver digital projects, products, and initiatives benefitting both internal stakeholders and external users and customers.

 

JLR’s Customer Experience team is going through an exciting period of growth. Together we will define, build and enable a modern luxury customer experience for our discerning clients by creating centres of excellence with highly skilled and motivated team members.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Act as expert user for digital services, proactively working with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs.
  • Create and maintain a holistic understanding of the interdependencies and interrelations within products, services and business processes.
  • Shape the future direction of our digital products and services ensuring they meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Work with external development teams and internal project teams to ensure direction for digital product development is clear and understood by all.
  • Contribute to the development of the broader Commercial digital product strategy and roadmap.
  • Managing all phases of projects/change requests: planning, execution, monitoring and closure including communications
  • Ensure all aspects of analysis at each phase of the project/change requests are managed, traceable and testable utilising standard Project management frameworks and templates. Continually ensure any system requirements and design remain aligned with business requirements relating to the projects.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • A customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel valued, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable.
  • A clear thinker, able to deconstruct situations and plan effectively.
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Previous experience in website management or running, overseeing, and maintaining digital projects.
