Tooling Engineer – Expert in simulation

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Responsibility: Formability studies made with autoform. Design tool method & strip layout with Catia v5 or other CAD systems. Prepare design solution which meet the AD formability criteria. 
  • Support: Engineering and costing department to define feasible stamping design and provide best possible blank size assessment and tool concept ideas for costing input.
  • Consult: AD tool supplier to check and control formability reports. AD tooling eng in tool design reviews and other tooling & material topics which are related to formability.
  • Deliver: Deliver formability reports and tool concept ideas.  
  • Initiate / Coordinate: AD Tooling Standard (controlled documents). Participate and oversee market activity in forming solutions and applications.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Educated as tool maker or tool designer and have a degree as engineer
  • Professional in software application autoform, Catia and others like Visi
  • Experience in metallurgy and new steel products
  • Tool Method Design & Strip Layout know how
  • Experienced in tooling building process steps from design to tool finishing
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong in use of MS ( Excel / Power Point / Word and other ) applications to manage your business
  • Display of good follow through and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
