An amazing opportunity is available for a Senior Programme Analyst to join our team in Special Vehicle Operations.

 

A key objective of the JLR SVO organisation is to expand the range of well executed high revenue vehicle lines, through delivery of new Halo vehicle programmes. To support this objective, your role will be to work within the Agile operating model within SV delivering new vehicle programmes.

 

As a Senior Programme Analyst, you’ll interact with various teams such as Programme Manager, Programme Group Lead, Group Scrum Master, Functional Leads across Finance, Commercial, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Management etc to improve processes and delivery of programmes.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as primary Programme Management interface with wider business/programme stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Coordinate Programme Delivery according to the Business Case and Programme Direction Letter (PDL).
  • Support the Programme Manager, Programme Group Lead and Group Scrum Master to achieve Programme success.
  • Manage Planning & Delivery activities across functional squads, such as Timing Plans, Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Sprint Planning & Backlog Refinement, Gateway Readiness and achievement. 
  • Manage Business Case through the lifecycle including overall Programme, Technical, Commercial and Financial management.
  • Manage Key Reviews including agenda and outputs such as Risk Management and Change Management.
  • Proactively monitor programme health through recognition of risks & issues, ensuring corrective action-plans & resolution plans are reviewed/confirmed at appropriate intervals.
  • Support Agile ceremonies such as Stand Up, Obstacle Review, Group Sync, Retrospective, Spring Planning.
  • Manage programme communications with all stakeholders, both internal and external as required.
  • Improve Programme & Agile ways of working through innovation and contribution to ideas.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED



To be successful in this role, you’ll have a good Agile experience and mindset with the ability to influence and help other to improve while focusing on value. You’ll have good communication skills that will help build relations across the business and at all levels.

  • Experience in Project / Programme Management, with track record of delivery.
  • Evidence of Leadership & use of PM skills to create direction and foster successful business outcomes from relative ambiguity.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) framework and typical critical-path activities involved in each programme phase.
  • Previous experience & knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring KPIs and controlling programme variables, inc. proactive risk & issue management, assumptions change management and releasing processes.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
  • Mindset to simplify and streamline workflows by leveraging personal automation skills or find others in the business to help with toolsets like JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, VBA.
