Product Planning Cross Car Line Manager

Product & Services Planning’s mission is to define competitive future Nissan products and services.
As architects of innovative Products and Services, this department's objective is to represent the AMIEO customer’s voice and translate it into key product and service requirements to deliver the right competitive equation.

The regional AMIEO Technology and Services Planning team, focuses on the vehicle & eco-system on Cross Car line Technologies, included connected car services
Autonomous Vehicles & Advanced Driver Assistance Systems features, Parking Technologies and much more.
Life on Board areas include fabrics, colours, sustainable materials, lighting, illumination, as well as entertainment systems, displays and much more.

Mission and objectives:

Role covers Connected Car & Services Planning, and responsible for the Specification Management and Certificate of conformity teams.
Responsible for planning NISSAN’s next generation Cross Car Line Technologies for the AMIEO Markets. Plan to deliver exciting, innovative and most competitive product strategy for the AMIEO customer. Collaborate between key stakeholders by providing analysis & recommendations.
Support Nissan's brand-image, product competitiveness, business development and profitability.

Role also takes care of a small team responsible for Spec Management and Certificate of conformity

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Cross Car Line
- Manager and his/her Team are responsible for:
- Secure a competitiveness set of technologies and services by delivering assigned milestones aligned with Cross-Car Line (CCL) roadmap and Vehicle milestones linked to CCS and HMI.
- Research, extract, benchmark and summarize customer, trends and competitor data from relevant sources (not limited to web, printed media, internal and external databases)
- Define Technology Product portfolio, adoption plan, features and services for AMIEO markets (short, mid, long term),
- Create features and services Product high-level specifications,
- Assess Product value and propose Product Services Packages
- Lead, interact and align within a large international project team(within AMIEO Region and outside), including any - Support Marketing launches thanks to your Product expertise
- Lead ideation activity and idea gathering for new services and coordinate the prioritization, business case development and definition of new services
- Judge and propose ideas for improving customer experience (incl. HMI) of existing and to-be-developed features and services

Background and Experience:
Education:
- degree (masters preferable) in one of the following fields or related areas: Automotive Engineering / Product Design / Marketing / Market Research & Customer Trends

Experience:
- 7-10 years of minimum professional experience in positions linked to Product Planning / Product Marketing / Customer Journey & Experience / Customer-Oriented Engineering
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: Automotive Engineering / Product Design / Marketing / Market Research & Customer Trends.
- Deep understanding of product development process (R&D, Manufacturing, Design, Marketing, PR)

Skills:
- Customer-centric mindset and strategic thinking
- Active interest and in-depth knowledge in automotive industry, mobility solutions and vehicle / project cycles and product launches
- Resources and team management skills in order to lead, develop and engage team members
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to regularly make presentations with impact to executives, challenge business stakeholders and empower members of the team
- Ability to collect and analyse consumer, market and competitive data and translate it into recommendations and strategies

- Good skills with data analysis tools (JATO/NCBS/IHS) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/Excel)
