Jr. Manager Compensation & Benefits

This position is responsible for plans, designs, evaluate and administer employee’s compensation and benefits programs such as salaries, short and long-term incentives, job evaluation, medical & life insurance plan, flex-benefits, performance appraisals, retirement plans.  

        

This role will support team management overseeing processes, reporting on and improving operations, and developing relationships with internal HR teams and key stakeholders across the Americas region.

Under his scope, needs to support HRBP and CEO’s (center of expertise) and provide recommendations related with compensation, market trend or C&B guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing key process for Compensation (Merit Increase, Variable Compensation, Sales Bonus).

  • Responsible for preparing the salary structure (Tabs) and general guidelines in terms of compensations.

  • Responsible for managing key Benefits processes (Medical & Life Insurance, flex-benefits, benefits allowances (home-office, beneflex, bonoflex).

  • Responsible for preparing internal and external analysis for salaries, benefits, variable compensation and LTI.

  • Responsible to valuate job positions.

  • Support the HRBP in terms of compensations (salary structures, job grades, job descriptions).

  • Responsible for reviewing and preparing salary offers and salary adjustment.

  • Responsible for managing the compensation analytics (turnover, internal movements, budget, cost, headcount).

  • Provide a total cash analysis in order to be monitoring the market.

  • Responsible to prepare benchmark for salaries and benefits.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (Administration, Finance, Actuary, Economy, Business).

  • Knowledge of job valuation methodologies (Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry).

  • Knowledge in Compensation Software (Workday, People Soft, Mercer, WTW).

  • Knowledge in Variable Compensation (Short & Long Term incentives).

Previous Work Experience:

  • Compensation (7-10 years).

  • Benefits (5-7 years).

  • Variable Compensation (5-7 years).

  • Job Valuation Methodologies (5- 7 years).

  • Compensation Software’s (5-7 years).

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3 direct reports – Specialist level.

Computer Skills:

  • Excel and Power Point (advance- proficient)

  • Desirable: Mercer / WTW / Korn Ferry Software.

  • Desirable: Workday, People Soft.

Language:

  • English advance / proficient.

Capable of traveling:

  • 10% (annually).

Must have:

  • Excellent oral (clear, consistent) communication skills

  • Comfortable in interaction with Executive leaders, Managers leaders, COE and HRBPs.

  • Strong Analytic Skills.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork Skills.

  • Managing frustration and resilience.

Nice to have:

  • Compensation Networking (Compensation groups / forums).
