Engine Mounts System Design Engineer

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prediction of required systems capacity. Definition of components, modifications and countermeasures. Creation of development plan in line with spec requirements.

  • To monitor the project development, identify any deviation from plan and take recovery actions.

  • To prepare technical and cost reports to confirm that the project status meets the targets.

  • Contribution to achieve the department yearly targets: cost reduction, quality, others.

  • To contribute to EN1 Ambition 2030 skill up activity for electrification (motor mounts)

Background and experience:

  • Qualified to degree level in Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering and Design management systems. Experience in Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH), rubber performance and chassis layout.

  • It is also required an automotive R&D experience with mechanical components related to chassis and powertrain systems.

  • It also will be appreciated knowledge in mechanical simulation software.

  • Liaison and communication skills to enable cross functional interaction with suppliers, test departments, purchase, manufacturing plants and other external worldwide contacts.

  • Proven skills for supervisory and coaching.

  • Fluent English and Spanish is required.

  • Availability for travel and short assignments abroad.
