Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Demand to Supply (DTS) Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in the Demand to Supply process, particularly in areas such as Planning, Quality Management, Inventory & Warehouse Management and Logistics & Transportation Management.
The DTS Solution Architect will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and deciding on best fit solutions utilizing existing applications and services in the Aptiv landscape or through evaluating and recommending new solutions.
The DTS Solution Architect will work closely with Systems Analysts for key applications including SAP ECC and S/4HANA to develop the strategy and roadmaps for the DTS process and solution.
Your Role
- Evaluate and define solutions for Aptiv business requirements in line with the Aptiv Architecture process.
- Create High Level (HLD) and Low Level (LLD) Design documents.
- Present solutions and design documents at the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure designs align to governance, security and technology standards.
- Work with existing solutions in the DTS area including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Warehousing & Transportation Applications and Planning Applications to develop roadmaps to meet the emerging business needs of Aptiv.
- Evaluate new technologies and suppliers when appropriate to ensure the DTS process continues to evolve in line with business requirements.
- Will involve applying knowledge of the automotive or related industries to tailor solutions effectively, ensuring they meet industry standards and requirements.
- Providing strategic guidance to project teams, you'll play a crucial role in aligning project implementations with overarching business objectives and ensuring solutions are delivered in line with the design.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and partners, you'll lead by example, fostering effective communication and teamwork to drive successful business transformations.
Your Background
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in designing solutions and roadmaps in the DTS process area
- Experience in DTS Process in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable with questioning established ways of working to bring process and automation improvements and getting agreement to change
- Background in the automotive, high tech, manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
