The EH&S supervisor will be based in the city of Fresnillo in plants 2 and 3 in the city of Zacatecas reporting to plant management and HR management. The position is responsible for driving the EH&S performance of the operation supporting the organization. of Operations and leading the EH&S organization.
Your Role:
- Actively takes responsibility for the correctness, reliability and comparability of all key operations EH&S performance drivers.
- Active involvement in the operations process, ensuring timely and accurate EH&S reporting, robust EH&S analysis and effective action plans.
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve EH&S performance, minimize waste and inefficiencies, and achieve best in-class business model.
- Manage and control operations annual budget.
- Ensures plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with the Company strategic targets and business plans.
- Ensure existence of robust business and EH&S processes and compliance with internal controls. Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices.
- Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, provides coaching in order to increase performance.
- Support the EH&S planning process (forecast, business planning, etc).
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EH&S or related field
- 4- 5 years of experience in similar positions; with responsibility for all areas of the plant
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- Mastery of Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Risk Management, EH&S Legal Compliance, EH&S Rules and Regulations
- Data analysis and reporting
- EH&S certifications (OSHA, ISO 14000, etc.)
