Scope & Team

“Strategic Workforce Planning & People Analytics” is one of the regional teams, covering activities across full AMIEO Region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania) that stretches over 140 markets, ~30 entities, with >20k employees.

Our team is a strong believer that no business decisions should be taken without people data at hand. We love data and want others to love it too!

You would be based in Budapest working alongside SWP Specialist and People Analytics team (based in Budapest) and reporting to Workforce Planning Manager (based in UK).

Main Responsibilities

Facilitate Headcount (HC) / Labour Cost (LC) budgeting process to ensure Workforce Planning is aligned with business need:

  • Gather and consolidate HC/LC data to generate business plan (BP) and forecasts (FC)
  • Analyse and spot inconsistencies in the submissions, identify root causes for errors; suggest & implement corrections with HR and Finance teams
  • Prepare variance analysis for HC/LC vs chosen scenario (e.g. vs previous BP)
  • Support identifying Risks & Opportunities during business planning and forecasting.

Report and control actual HC/LC:

  • Generate monthly reporting pack of AMIEO HC/LC to multiple stakeholders (global and regional reporting)
  • Analyse and spot inconsistencies in Financial / Workday data and guide HR and Finance teams on the corrections.
  • Support monthly HC/LC variance analysis vs BP/FC
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting requests from key stakeholders.

Report and control actual HR Overheads:

  • Extract monthly actual data from Finance Systems (SAP and Tagetik) and consolidate AMIEO Region report
  • Support monthly variance analysis vs BP/FC

Support data consolidation process improvements:

  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes related to HC/LC planning/reporting, including automation projects.
  • Carry out feasibility studies to use different set ups for better alignment with Global / Regional HR or Finance guidance.
  • Support implementation and maintenance nomenclature alignment in the region

Main Challenges:

HR system (Workday) data quality is not 100% accurate. Finance systems (SAP) are not centralized and/or fully integrated into corporate BI tool.  Planning processes are mostly manual.

Global data governance is established, but regional needs are unique and need to be catered for. Identifying ways to merge the two is challenging, yet important to eliminate inefficiencies and duplication of effort.

We are still working towards the consistency of scopes and definitions within the AMIEO region.
