Warranty Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks

The Warranty Specialist will be responsible for handling all aspects of Warranty, Recall and 
Workshop Campaigns. His/her goal is to execute, plan and develop crucial processes related to 
Porsche Centers Warranty Support, also the qualification and quality of warranty administrators. 

Tasks
Main Responsibilities

  • Review and process claims, evaluate supporting documentation, make payment 
    determination, (approval or denial) and payment adjustments to dealer claims based 
    on Warranty Porsche Policy interpretation and Brazil specific regulations (such as tax 
    calculation);
  • Review and process dealer requests for subsequent credit, which requires investigation 
    and review of prior submitted claims to determine if subsequent claims adjustments 
    are warranted;
  • Review requests for payments by checking if the invoices sent by the dealers were 
    issued according to the claim values in order to release the claim and credit notes for 
    payment and report the dealers and importer warranty credits to the Finance 
    Department;
  • Ensure connection with PAG to prepare our region with proper tools, methods and other 
    technical aspects of the new technologies (High Voltage Vehicles; Multi Material Mix; 
    Smart Mobility);
  • Review Monthly (warranty and goodwill) reports and advise markets of error and 
    processes not within the worldwide average;
  • Publish new campaigns and updates to the markets on Porsche Portal. Monitor 
    campaigns purposes and monitor campaign fulfillment. Support dealers with campaign 
    issues (documentation, parts, etc) 
  • Support the Legal department regarding Recall announcements from Porsche AG and 
    Recall notices from the authorities. Support Marketing department regarding the 
    material for the Midia Plan and its review;
  • Guarantee the parts availability for Workshop and Recall campaigns;
  • Support and organize Porsche Brazil PSA audit related with Goodwill, Warranty and 
    Porsche Approved matters;
  • Maintain the warranty manuals updated and adapt the content based on Brazil legal 
    requests and strategy;
  • Create and send individual Recall campaign files to the government platform every 15 
    days
  • via a governmental system. Report the geographic distribution of the repaired vehicles, 
    individually, every 60 days. 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automotive) / Administration or Correlated 
    areas.

Experience

  • 5+ years working experience in the Automotive Industry.
  • Warranty and Parts release experience is an advantage 

Competencies and skills:

  • Solid analytical capacity.
  • Capable of working in a structured way, paying attention to organization and 
    documentation.
  • Clear and confident communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English language is required
