Retail Environment Section Manager

Mission and main objectives:

The Retail Environment Section Manager playing an important role in overseeing the design, development, and management of the retail environment within the Nissan Network in AMIEO region. Role assumes guidance and support of AMIEO regional RBUs in NRC rollout across the region. RE SM is an owner of Nissan AMIEO’s ‘In-Store’ vision & Future Retail Distribution Strategy (FRDS) supporting key pillars of the Global Network strategy.

This position requires a dynamic individual with a keen understanding of consumer and regional business unit preferences, customer trends, and the ability to create an immersive and compelling retail experience.  In addition, the role is to guarantee our Dealer Network represents our Brand values through Nissan Network Standards: definition and audit.

Mission will also include implementation and follow up of Sales and Marketing DND cross-functional projects.

Main Task and Responsibilities:

Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) / Nissan Retail Environment Design Initiative 2.1 (NREDI 2.1) part of Global Network Strategy:

  • Enhanced customer experience and improved consistent brand image at dealerships
  • Define the NREDI regionalization for the region with Dealer Network Dpt (DND) and Design Dpt of Nissan Motor Limited - global headquarter (NML) and Nissan AMIEO functions (Marketing, After Sales, Light Commercial Vehicle..)
  • Project coordination of 20.20 (design agency) & Mood Media (Technology supplier)
  • Support piloting and evaluation for the NREDI regionalization
  • Coordinate NREDI guideline updates
  • Ensure the NREDI deployment within the Region with DND team: AMIEO HQ and RBU's (Regional Business Unit)
  • Management of Project Management Company
  • Supply chain management (logo, VI, fixtures, furniture)

Future Retail Distribution Strategy (FRDS)

  • Develop and manage global consistency to Future Retail Distribution Strategy (FRDS) vision, design, standards and processes (online and offline) Lead regional implementation and operation of new online/offline retail format pilots
  • Ensure Future Retail Distribution Strategy integrates with current and future network planning strategy
  • Alignment of NREDI and Network Standards

Nissan Network Standard (Pan-European Nissan minimum selectivity criteria and operational standards)

  • Evolve pan-European minimum selectivity criteria according to function needs
  • Review and lead development of external audit methodology supported by web-based repository systems
  • Ensure the right follow up after audit with RBU's for compliance recovery of audited dealerships
  • Define & implement operational standards (New!) with Function and RBU's

Technology / CMS (Content Management System) for the dealership network:

  • Drive showroom digital evolution
  • Coordinate scope, roles and responsibilities of digital evolution projects with internal (Global, AMIEO and RBU's) and external stakeholders: Digital team, Marketing Product team, Marketing agencies, Technology agency.

Background & Experience:

  • Experience in Marketing and in the field department or DND (network knowledge is key)
  • Experience in HQ and in RBU's
  • English and one other European language mandatory
  • Open minded and challenges conventions
