Mission and objectives:

As People Analytics Expert you will drive & deliver People Analytics projects within Europe, Middle East, India, Africa, Oceania (AMIEO region), as well as implementing & maintaining digital reporting initiatives across all regional COEs to deliver enhanced customer experience to the business.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Drive & maintain people analytics projects in AMIEO:

  • Be the main point of contact in case of professional questions or escalated issues. Provide guidance and resolutions autonomously.
  • Run complex data analysis from structured and unstructured data, using multiple advanced statistical, machine learning and data manipulation techniques to provide accurate insights & to validate assumptions. Data sources include HC management system (Workday), employee surveys, Learning & development portal, business reports (key performance indicators), external & internal benchmarks, and others.
  • Formulate & deliver recommendations to the stakeholders by summarizing emerged insights into compelling and easy to understand stories, for directing and shaping regional people strategy

Drive digital reporting initiatives across all regional COEs to deliver enhanced customer experience to the business:

  • Ensure high data quality and timely delivery of our reports in a user-centric form
  • Coordinate with respective members within the regional COEs and regional digital teams to design and implement new digital dashboards using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Support implementation of regional & global digital dashboards within the region

Major Challenges

  • Other teams (digital HR, COEs) may have different priorities so planning and expectation management are key.
  • With less previous focus on analytics within HR, our stakeholders’ skills and maturity of existing processes can be very different within the region. We need to adapt accordingly.
  • Organization is not fully set up to support advanced analytics, we need to be pro-active and creative
  • Data quality gaps must be continuously monitored and handled.

Background & Experience

  

  • 7-10 years of experience within the professional role (ideally People Analytics role) with some exposure to HR operations, in an international, cross functional and diverse environment
  • Previous experience in managing bigger analytics project from end to end
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, data science / statistics focus is preferred
  • Outstanding analytical skills - including automation, statistics, machine learning - and relevant experience in delivering outcomes to business leaders
  • Proficient with Tableau or other similar business intelligence tools
  • Coding (vba, python, sql, etc.), Workday reporting and AWS Sagemaker skills are preferred
  • Critical thinking, ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data
  • Self-Driven, comfortable working within unstructured and dynamic environment
  • Customer focus and ability to "talk" in their language and "walk" in their shoes
