Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a

SAP IBP Project Manager for E2E Planning & Supply Chain (d/f/m)

 located in Hamburg or Toulouse with a possible start date of December 2023 or later.

In this position you will be a member of the Centre of Competence Programme & Project Management Team. As Integrated Planning is a key contributor to the stable ramp up in our commercial A/C programmes and their profitability, Airbus is currently boosting the business capabilities in this domain in terms of digitalisation and “End to End “ integration all across all functions and domains. We are reshaping the way we want to do planning in the future while protecting and enhancing our strengths and specific capabilities.

As SAP IBP Project Manager for E2E Planning & Supply Chain you contribute to the design or adaptation and introduction of the next generation of planning processes, their governance, methods and tools for the Airbus Integrated Business Planning Domain using SAP modules (EPP/DS & IBP) as a backbone to be integrated within specific Airbus architecture.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You participate in a Transformation Project as Programme Representative and Business Owner of the related tool suite   

  • You coach and support IBP users in deployment, improvement and problem solving to their day-to-day activity

  • You link to other interfacing domains as IBP representative and secure proper business ecosystem integration in terms of process and method deployment 

  • You are the knowledge owner within the Centre of Competence Programme and Project Management

  • You secure data management and quality for IBP activities within Airbus

Desired skills and qualifications 

  • Educated to a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management

  • Several years of experience in Integrated Business Planning, Advanced Planning and Supply Chain Management

  • Profound experience in agile and classical waterfall project management techniques

  • Relevant experience in an “engineering to order” environment, ideally in aeronautics

  • Knowledge of SAP IBP, EPP, S4 hana/SAP on hana is a must have, SAP Analytics Cloud  is a plus

  • Google workspace is something you have already worked with

  • You easily adapt to different stakeholders and have extended intuition for customer needs 

  • You have excellent communication and good presentation skills

  • Your working method is very structured and you have the ability to think analytically and understand complex situations

  • You think out of the box when proposing solutions

  • Working in an international, multicultural as well as multifunctional environment is inspiring for you

Desired language skills

  • English at negotiation level

  • German and/or French are a plus

Business travels

The position involves monthly business trips within Europe.
