Who we are
InFactory Solutions GmbH (InFy) is a 100% Airbus subsidiary, part of Testia Group, located in Munich Area. InFy develops solutions for automated quality inspection of aircraft components during manufacturing.
Our multidisciplinary team groups different competence fields from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Our challenge is to generalize sensor solutions, especially machine vision systems, for highly variable component geometries, surface qualities and materials. All of this in a multi-cultural and collaborative environment !
We use in-house-built sensors, customized cameras or laser profilometers for defect detection and object measurement. Using the large amount of data (images, height profiles, robot positions) generated from various sources (e. g. cameras, robot) and synchronized through the pipelines, our in-house built software can provide interface to meet different requirements.
We also see ourselves as the advocate of raising AI acceptance in a safety critical industry like aerospace.
To broaden the expansion of our teams in Munich and Toulouse, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer in Munich as of now.
What you'll do

Conducting system design activities and reviews of detailed application on module specifications, classes, objects, methods, and other software components.

Design and implement innovative solutions for quality inspection of aerospace and wind energy components

Review the development process on daily bases

Review and debug code
-
Work in cross-domain teams to bring a product from experimental status to industry-grade
What you'll bring
-
Bachelor/Master of Computer Science, Mathematics degree or equivalent
-
Five years of non-internship professional software development experience
-
Proven experience in launching the software in production
-
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)

Good knowledge of Python
-
Ability to work on both new developments and legacy software required

Knowledge in Boost, Halcon, OpenCV, Qt, SCADA, Docker

Outstanding team capability, communication, and documentation abilities

Fluency in English or German is required
