We have an exciting and rare hybrid work opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Partner to join the HR team in Columbus, Georgia!

We are seeking a high energy, self-starter to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture mix of both exempt and non-exempt employees. The Manager, HR Partner role will provide day-to-day human resources support and direction for an employee population supporting our Operations and/or Aftermarket business areas located in Columbus.

  • Culture & Change Ambassador: Embody, influence and drive culture throughout the business.
  • Communication Skills - Ability to coach, consult and influence leaders regarding the importance of good “people” practices and the links to business success; ability to conduct effective presentations, facilitate meetings; ability to be approachable and empathetic to employee needs.
  • Human Resources Acumen - Ability to understand the total HR framework from strategy through implementation; possesses reasonably broad HR domain knowledge in areas such as Leadership Development, Change Management, Employee Effectiveness, Compensation & Recruiting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including a history of influencing without direct supervisory responsibilities and experience/knowledge of coaching supervisors and managers through the performance management process: OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a history of influencing without direct supervisory responsibilities and experience/knowledge of coaching supervisors and managers through the performance management process.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen – this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and systems skills – and a dynamic problem solver with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to craft solutions to everyday challenges with creative new ideas.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 2+ years of investigations, employee engagement, and partnership with the business experience.
  • High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information is essential.
  • Proven customer focused experience and excellent business judgment.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
