Overview:
The Collins Aerospace Test Engineering organization (ATE-COE) is looking for a motivated individual who can design and developing complex software solutions for Test Equipment in aerospace domain.
Position: Associate Engineer -P1(B)- ATE Software
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interacts with the team to understand the Test equipment requirement and derive an appropriate test framework.
- Design software components for the test architecture, coding of modules using LabVIEW / C sharp as per design specification.
- Actively participates in Test equipment hardware design including component selection, review/creation of electrical drawings, schematics and assembly drawings.
- Development and Testing of software modules against design and requirement specification, integration testing with test system, debugging and resolving the issues.
- Prepares Design documents, Test plan, User Manual and related documents.
Basic Qualifications:
- BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
- 2+ years of exclusive experience in LabVIEW programming preferably CLA or CLD
- Expertise in LabVIEW 2019 or higher and good knowledge in LabVIEW OOPS, LabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW RT and tool kits
- Good programming, problem solving skills and best software engineering practices.
- Hands on experience on various test equipment like NI Hardware, Third party Data Acquisition Systems, DSO, DMM, Analyser, signal generators etc.
- Knowledge in protocols like CAN, Serial, Ethernet and ARINC
- Good usage of tools like Version control, MS VISIO, MS OFFICE
- Very Good Communication skills
