HR Process and Payroll Coordinator

Within our HR department in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced HR professional, who has a broad experience in HR & Payroll administration and HR Processes. As HR Process and Payroll Coordinator you will have an independent key position. You are responsible for various HR processes and payroll related activities. You are the go-to person for various questions on employment conditions.

Although our payroll administration is carried out by an external payroll provider, you have an important role in coordinating and finalizing this process. You ensure correct processing of the salary and personal data in the payroll administration, so that all payments can be made on time and correctly.

You will add value through a deep knowledge of payroll administration and (internal) business processes and its stakeholders. We believe it is important to continuously improve our quality. Therefore, you need to be able to think about and decide on the continuous improvement and development of our HR processes and procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Budget

  • HR budget & headcount control and reporting

Payroll

  • Responsible for finalizing Payroll administration and for correct and timely payment of salaries
  • Monthly checking of salary output
  • Improve payroll data base and processes
  • Payroll & Audit Reporting (holiday balance, headcount, management information etc.)
  • Make sure insurance & law changes are correct in the system
  • Book SEPA files in BNP (bank system)

System

  • Guarantee a correct administration in ADDP Perman
  • Workday ambassador and being the Workday partner for all GPS transactions
  • Keeping track of vendor management In Prorex
  • Active contribution to/initiates the digitization of HR processes

Your Experience, Background & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor degree working and thinking level
  • HR & Payroll knowledge – proven experience as HR/Payroll Specialist
  • Proficient on HR/Payroll practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Fluency speaking in both English & Dutch
  • Experience with Workday and ADP is a plus
  • Interest in digitization
  • Analytical & numerical (budget control/ reporting)
  • Discrete – handling confidential business and personal information
  • Negotiation skills – balance business needs with HR policies
  • Decision making - exercises sound judgment across situations and complex issues
  • Consultative skills – Good communicative skills, able to partner with the business and external stakeholder (payroll provider, insurance companies)
