WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will provide engineering and technical support to maintain and improve manufacturing production  procedures and processes. This includes supporting all departments across the Body in White technology in achieving Integrated production systems and quality operating systems.

 

This includes the creation and continuous improvement of processes which support procedural requirement. Management of engineering related system requirements.

 

You’ll be part of a team of engineers, the role requires collaboration across functions to ensure we have established compliance with the BOP to deliver processes that meet our basic minute value (BMV) and quality targets. It is also important for us to share best practice across the platforms and between manufacturing plants to ensure we employ the best processes available wherever possible.

 

This role will also provide engineering and technical support to maintain  and improve manufacturing production processes and associated equipment to enable build of  products, dimensional output, ensuring quality of product and compliance with the Bill of Process (BOP).

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Application and adherence of Quality Operating Systems and Integrated Production Systems.
  • Planning, developing, implementation and continuous improvement of all capable GSPAS Processes for manufacturing, including change management.
  • Process Capability of all processes and equipment, including Dimensional Management applications.
  • Quality Planning, Problem Solving and Analysis for Manufacturing.
  • Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.
  • Planning, development, procurement and implementation of all Process equipment tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
