Tasks

  • Create, execute, and innovate the full spectrum of Processes under the Purchasing Department;
  • Maintaining a constant communication with current suppliers, regarding the ongoing projects of the departments. Ongoing communication with requesters as well;
  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers;
  • Going into negotiations with suppliers regarding contractual details;
  • Creating the necessary purchase documentation (Purchase Order, Vendor Selection Form,etc) based on internal processes;
  • Follow-up of the respective purchase orders until the purchase order process is fully processed;
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns;
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings;
  • Analyze industry and demand trends and support management with the development and implementation of new strategies;
  • Creation and modification of vendor master records in the system;
  • Be the trusted advisor of the teams collaborating with. 

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role;
  • Contracts law knowledge &negotiation experience;
  • Advanced skills using Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams;
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies;Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • High level of personal responsibility, organizational skills, and reliability;
  • Solution-oriented and with proactive approach to work;
  • High level of personal responsibility, initiative, structured work, and reliability as well as a distinct understanding of processes;
  • Awareness of data privacy and data security;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Successfully completed business studies.
