Position Summary
The goal of this open position is to analyze, implement, and release manufacturing system designs, as well as to improve and support the Manufacturing area (including print analysis, design of new tooling boards, new manufacturing system design, and time and motion studies). Work closely with different departments such as Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, PC & L to ensure compliance with critical routes to meet customer requirements.
Your Role
General Description:
Responsible for buy material based on demand using the ERP/ MRP and looking to avoid manual process where is possible to manage the demand. Sending the firm and forecast to the suppliers, assure the communication with supplier by EDI is working properly.
Manage and review material availability for production based on forecast and production program.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure material on time / Use ERP system to schedule deliveries.
Manage and expedite purchase orders needed to fulfill build schedule for on-time delivery.
