To develop tooling architectures that position Valeo as a leader in the field of ADAS validation.
Define the Test Tooling architectures to satisfy Functional and Performance testing of ADAS Products
- Ensure architectures are state of the art and align with Valeo’s technology roadmaps.
- Develop and improve Valeo’s standard test architectures and development processes.
- Ensure an optimization in design for cost effectiveness
Secure the product robustness, apply standards
- Enforce standards Engineering discipline solutions
- Support Engineering discipline Design Review
- Manage the link with other Engineering disciplines / calling for hierarchical support if needed
- Capitalization of the know-how (Standardization, Specifications, technical reports, processes and guidelines)
Support Engineering discipline requirement Management
- Provides inputs and requirements to the Engineering discipline for the development
- Interface with customer for Engineering discipline architecture content
- Review tooling requirements across all current and future projects, and across all areas of testing within R&D.
Create innovative test architectures for real time testing of ADAS sensors and systems, covering the following use cases:
- Vision based simulation HIL benches
- Vision based replay HIL benches
- In vehicle recording and test tools
- Automation tools
Support activities
- Document and validate software architectures and frameworks.
- Create training modules and support users in the successful application of the test environments on live projects.
- Participate in code reviews, both as reviewer and reviewee.
- Participate in technology / supplier / test tool selection for new projects. Keep abreast of the latest technologies and features.
