In our High Voltage (HV) systems team, we develop Power Distribution Units to safely distribute electric power in vehicles with an electrified powertrain.
You will work with the engineering team and the technicians at the lab to build prototypes and set up, execute and analyze the outcome of Designs of Experiments (DoE).
These experiments can cover all aspects of the system, ranging from mechanical strength and thermal performance to the high voltage- and software requirements. In all cases, the experimental analyses will drive important design choices for these systems and help us co-develop zero emission electric powertrains with our customers.
General Responsibilities
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
- Supports customers issues and seeing problems through to resolution
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
- Interacts directly with the customer/user
- Organize several open issues at one time
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
