Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Seattle, WA. The Supply Chain Specialist will lead and collaborate with numerous BGS partners to execute timely support of AOG events. This role will also develop and implement best methods in cross-functional process improvements, organizational efficiencies, and establish clear integration plans.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced, or Senior level Supply Chain Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners

  • Develop proficiency with systems and tools required to support day-to-day goals and activities

  • Work with urgency and make decisions weighing business goals

  • Effectively communicate company and business unit goals, objectives and priorities

  • Use negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational SME’s to improve performance commitments

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Seattle, WA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Management Services (MMS)

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Previous experience managing change in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations

                                                                                                                                              

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Management Services (MMS)

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • Previous experience working urgent requirements with BGS Organization

  • Previous experience with systems and tools such as: SAP, MART/PART Page, BESSy, Order Manager, Export Determination Guide/GTC website, Airplane Configuration Tracking (ACT) website, etc.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Experienced (Level 3):

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4):

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Experienced level: $86,700 - $117,300

Summary pay range for Senior level: $108,800 - $147,200
