The Role

The Field Account Manager represents the OEM’s marketing products through AutoPoint to existing dealer customers. They will be part of a collaborative OEM vendor partner team to drive dealership performance. The Field Account Manager is the first call for program support or questions. They will be encouraged to bring feedback about our clients’ business struggles to the rest of the field team and leaders to collaborate on solutions. The FAM will have goals set for client retention as well as identifying additional program fitments within each dealership’s unique strategy or direction. The role requires up to 75% travel, with some of that time included in the respective local home territory. Virtual meetings are also acceptable when warranted to quickly support a dealer and maintain a healthy work/life balance.

What You’ll Do

  • Accurately present the OEM client’s marketing solutions executed by AutoPoint to dealership GM’s, Service Managers, FOD’s, and support teams.
  • Execute onsite meetings with results, recommendations, and provide training
  • Analyze reporting and data sets from various platforms to arrive at concise marketing recommendations consistent the clients objectives or goals
  • Articulate complex marketing data, terminology, and KPI’s in simple terms that matter to the dealer business
  • Navigate direction from the OEM customer and dealership to diplomatically provide support
  • Proactively communicate to dealership leaders and OEM district fixed operations managers
  • Become a crucial partner that is invited to dealerships discussions occurring before the decision are made
  • Exhibit in your actions and language respect for the values the OEM client and AutoPoint
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement to test unique solutions using the marketing tools available
  • Maintains dealer contacts and business activity in Salesforce.com on a regular basis

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Sales or Marketing focus preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of automotive or dealership experience Omni-channel marketing experience is a plus
  • An ideal candidate:
    • Knowledge dealership operations, especially fixed operations
    • General awareness of dealership technology systems utilized
    • Build relationships with internal and external customers
    • Multi-tasking ability with several deadlines and strong organizational structures
    • Software Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
