Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our Boeing Defense, Space & Security organization in Tukwila, WA or Everett, WA.         

   

This human resources (HR) position is a key member of the Engineering Test & Technology HR team supporting Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers. This role is responsible for administering and deploying Human Resources programs, policies and processes with integration of HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives. Relationship management to effectively leverage and build relationships with key stakeholders, initiative, active engagement and operational planning to the organizations strategic plan and priorities is critical for the responsibilities of this role.

Position responsibilities:

  • Provide effective consultative skills/talent management solutions that drive technical innovation and quality results, partnering with leaders to integrate functional, human resource and organizational change management strategies and action plans to improve operational effectiveness, leadership, workforce planning, engagement and talent acquisition

  • Lead key HR initiatives and partner with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • Collaborate with managers/employees to drive the development of people strategies, action plans and metrics to assess progress/impact

  • Use business knowledge to make recommendations and proposals on key functional strategies, develops long and short term strategies involving policies (e.g., Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embeds people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization

  • Account for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered

  • Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture to performance outcomes

  • Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • Develop integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives; effectively partners across HR organizations to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers  

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

  • Analyze staffing and diversity strategy performance and develop corrective solutions

  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • Experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $111,350 - $150,650
