Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Chief Legal Officer (CLO), one of our most senior executives. In addition to providing traditional administrative duties, you will be a liaison, handling details of a confidential and critical nature. You will need to be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks. We are seeking someone who is not afraid of making recommendations to create better ways of working. We ask that you take initiative, be accountable, be tactful, and exercise good judgement to proactively address potential problems and ensure an efficiently functioning executive.

You will report to our Chief Legal Officer, and this position is hybrid, working from our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, prioritize, and maintain CLO's calendar, including complex calendaring, planning and scheduling meetings
  • Arrange travel and logistics and create expense reports and pays bills
  • Follow-up on items and promptly respond to inquiries and requests
  • Manage expectations with a variety of partners and achieve time and with high quality results
  • Be proactive about potential scheduling conflicts and prioritize according to what is most important to the CLO
  • Develop positive working relationships with staff, internal departments, and outside parties, including high-level sensitive contacts
  • Partner with other EAs to coordinate between executives and manage tradeoffs and prioritization
  • Partner with the CLO's Chief of Staff to align on operating rhythm and cadences for the Legal, Government Affairs and Public Policy (LGAPP) leadership team and maintain meeting logs, meetings, and team communication sites
  • Schedule, plan and coordinate team events, meetings, and multi-day offsites, including organizing logistics, on-site amenities, and activities
  • Maintain email aliases, distribution lists, and shared directories
  • Be the point person for departmental purchases on behalf of your executive
  • Provide staff meeting support, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and distributing meeting minutes and presentations on occasion
  • Understand that a high-functioning team is critical to success

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Prior experience supporting a C-level officer preferred
  • Experience with global travel arrangements and expense reporting
  • Takes a proactive approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, and solving problems
  • Responsive and prompt including the ability to meet tight timetables and complete complex tasks and projects quickly and to react with appropriate urgency and prioritization
  • Be decisive in determining methods and procedures on new assignments, seeking clarity when an obstacle is in your way but comfortable operating when the information is not yet complete
  • Work with a sense of urgency and excel in a creative environment

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,900 and $166,430. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
