Tasks
- Summarize the technical and development process status on a regular basis and report to management
- Develop ECU model or algorithm model to serve HiL testing
- Work with internal/external counter parts on Powertrain/Thermal management calibration activities
- Autonomously execute all calibration activities including adapting, modifying and optimization of systems and components for different projects
- Engine/Thermal management hardware/software/calibration problem solving independently, technical discussion internally and with Germany experts
- Analysis of the test results and present proposals and lesson learn for improvements
- Planning, executing and documentation of different kind of testing in vehicles on road or test benches
- Participation in meetings and testing events
Qualifications
- Master or bachelor degree in vehicle engineering or Electric/Electronic engineering
- Minimum 5 years working experience in automotive companies OEM or 1st tier
- Solid experience with HiL toolchain like dSPACE ASM, Controldesk, Configurationdesk and Vector VT system
- Solid experience with Matlab Simulink relevant tool box or other simulation environment
- Deep knowledge of engine construction, the theory of combustion engine and engine control theory
- Deep knowledge of thermal management
- Experience in engine base calibration, engine testing, vehicle calibration and road trip test Cold/Hot/Altitude
- Good understanding of ECU’s control function
- Using skill of ETAS tools, INCA/MDA, DiagRA
- Driver license
- Willingness for business trips in China and to Germany
- Proficiency in Chinese and English language is a must, German language skills are considered a plus
