. Lead the sales activities within Ichikoh organization, from the time of issuing NPA through to program launch:
- Basing upon the inputs from Sales person and/or directly from customers, initiate the program launch by issuing NPA
- Coordinate with Program Management, Finance and Purchasing teams, and others related teams also, have BOM, Costing and other materials required for Sales Price preparation
2. Follow up the program launch statuses by coordinating with Program Management team and communicate to both Sales & Marketing organization and to external customers:
- Basing upon the inputs from Sales persons, Sales related documents (NPA and CAA) are to be created, and reviewed with Sales persons
3. Administration and control of costing and calculating CAA pricing, and set up and present CAA and obtain approval for quote submission:
- Initiate Review Sessions with Ichikoh internal organization for approvals of NPA and CAA, and determine Sales Pricing by administering and controlling the cost
- Together with Sales General Manager, review the Sales Pricing and on management approval, create Quotations and some VA/VE documents, etc., for customer submissions
4. Support any other Sales & Marketing department needs as required:
- Lighting Business Development: The person will have two major characters of looking after the OEM/OES side of the businesses within Thailand market
- Account Manager’s Role: The person is to interface, coordinate and resolve any sales matters such as obtaining RFI/RFQ from the customers, responding to RFQs (including setting selling price through Internal approval processes), and obtaining the Order Intake per the plan set for the year
This is to be done through coordination between Customers, Local and Japan HQ Sales Departments, etc.
- Sales Data Administration: The person is to understand the economic trend of the automotive market in Thailand and a) budget each year (and review half year) the possible sales per each customer assigned,
b) Receive forecasts from the customer(s) every month and compare with the budget (some may need negotiation in expecting/delaying) and c) Monitor and report the up/down of the forecast vs actual each week to maintain accuracy of the figures. (if abnormality, alarm internally each week for production/ logistics/ financial for awareness and countermeasures)
Note: The actual date input will be done through the Sales Admin and Marketing Analysts within the Sales Department.
- Project Team Coordinator: The person will act as coordinator of the project team until program launches to ensure that the customer’s requirements are identified, understood and executed by the project team
- QCD
Delivery matters: The Sales person will cover delivery matter (Prototype, trial, mass production) by obtaining volume information through customer(s) in timely manner and ensuring to deliver per customer’s schedule.
Cost matters: The Sales person will be responsible in collecting payment (parts and/or tooling & jigs) to make sure the payment is being made by customer per schedule agreed with the customers and/or alliance companies concerned
Quality matters: The Sales person will be the window to the customers and be the coordinator within the Ichikoh organization, and ensure to follow up until the matters are closed
Topics:
- Coordinate the quotation process with concerning departments
- Capture and/or exceed the businesses set each year
- Activity participate as Project coordinator
- Understand customer’s requirements and special characters, and ensure that Customer Satisfaction is satisfied between the customers and Ichikoh group
- Ensure Market and Competitor’s data are accurate and update periodically
