Join a team of next-generation thinkers within Engineering Delivery, enabling the delivery of critical future engineering programmes, including developing cutting-edge technologies ranging from future autonomous driving capabilities to delivering the future all-electric Range Rover.

Using an Agile operating model this role will support the delivery of such programmes, projects, and their interdependencies within the Engineering Delivery team. Typically, this will involve the identification, planning, and coordination of specific projects, working with Product Owners and Scrum Masters across different levels of the Agile organisation. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of strategic business objectives. 
  • Management of required governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, and risk and issue management. 
  • Apply Agile project management principles to develop more effective and efficient ways of working. 
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned with stakeholder expectations. 
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in Programme Management with a track record of delivery. 
  • To act as the prime engineering contact in agile delivery groups, providing technical leadership and driving engineering excellence.
  • Proactively define and deliver technical compliance through defined KPIs.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Report the progress of the Engineering workstreams at defined intervals, ensuring that technical output data is appropriately maintained.
  • Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience. 
  • Experience resolving problems using structured approaches and problem-solving tools. 
  • Good MS Office suite: Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of managing projects & backlogs in tools such as Confluence & JIRA
