WHAT TO EXPECT
The Engineering Delivery Platform (EDP) aims to completely transform the way in which JLR operates to deliver our core activity of Product Creation from Idea to End of Life across the JLR enterprise. We have a clear vision to deliver a unified end to end process and toolset with connected, traceable data throughout all functions. We are seeking an experienced IT Product Manager with a strong focus on agile portfolio governance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic governance of our overall product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management standard.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the EDP product portfolio strategy & roadmap in alignment with the company's overall business objectives and market trends.
- Lead the Engineering Governance prioritization lean portfolio management (LPM) and resource allocation process for the DS 3DX product portfolio, balancing strategic initiatives, customer needs, and technical considerations.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with the EDP operational teams to assess the performance, health, and alignment of individual products with portfolio objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the EDP portfolio strategy, including cybersecurity threats, compliance issues, and operational challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, legal, compliance, and risk management, to address governance-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to portfolio governance, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT product development and governance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT product portfolios, including risk assessment, compliance, performance optimization & delivering business value
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.
- Product management certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are desirable
