In joining this program, you will lead an outstanding Analytics team focused on a digital transformation that will include customer and program metrics, data visualization, KPI management, and IT integration.

In this role you will be leading the Program Integration Office – Analytics Team.  Functional Excellence in the Program Integration Office - Analytics, you will be accountable to the PIO leader for program execution performance, driving execution of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), and supporting the overall work statement.  Analytics Team Statement of Work establishes systems, processes, and tools for use in support of program management and integrates across program teams by coordinating analytics activities for the program, and ensuring overall program performance execution objectives are achieved.  You will coordinate activities that supports all KPIs for the VC-25B program based on Control Points that align to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure (e.g., work break-down structure and Integrated Master Schedule).

You will use a blend of knowledge in coding skills and data warehouse management to oversee the Development, Build and Test, Run, and Automate methodology for KPIs.  Processes may require SQL coding in programs (e.g. SAS, SQL Server) to develop data plus other visual analysis tools.  What we do is Analytics integration and data development, building applications for digital visualization that can be automated for display through a common platform on VC-25B. You will also use data science methods to support the creation of analytics and business intelligence products from data (e.g. metrics and KPIs, databases, etc.) into digital visualization (standardized), and automating for efficiency. These tools will provide analytics for consultation to internal customers at various levels. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Mission Plans for system health on the next Presidential Aircraft.
  • Diagnoses Program health with diligent data analysis and maintenance to deliver first time quality and meet business objectives.
  • Provide Tactical Leadership to Team: Daily Execution, Operating Rhythm, Team assignments, etc.
  • Provide technical oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manage staff to include recruiting, training, performance and compensation management, motivating, developing, and ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Establish partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
  • Transparent Communication cadence with Senior Leaders from BDS, Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the United States Air Force.
  • Ensure alignment and standardization on deliverables across the team.
  • Direct partner to Sr. Operations, Air Vehicle Leaders and Functional counterparts within VC-25B and across BDS.
  • Works concurrently with Enterprise Analytics Team to establish and meet standards.
  • Develop and execute program and process plans, adhering to software quality and compliance requirements.
  • Understands current aircraft build status and communicates risk profiles and opportunities/enablers on behalf of the PIO Analytics team.
  • Ensures risks are mitigated and enablers are capitalized upon.
  • Responsibilities include acquiring, developing and providing oversight and retention of skilled people or capabilities are in place to meet program needs. Forecast resource needs and make hiring decisions.
  • Ensure technical training is provided when and as needed.
  • Recognize contributions of individuals and teams and provide recognition.
  • Administer time and attendance functions.
  • Develop and build solutions for systems, processes, and tools for data and analytics.
  • Oversee the “Run” analytics for timely metrics that support program management and visibility that enable decisions at the right level.
  • Delegates effectively to PIO Analytics team and encourages IPT zonal build ownership and fosters innovation.
  • Coordinates data science concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and assist in data mining manufacturing and support operations to assess performance. 
  • Manages development of data models and data warehouse used for PIO Analytics. 
  • Initiates assignments under consultative direction toward long range goals and objectives. 
  • Selects and builds tools and utilizes analytical methods to visualize performance. 
  • Recommends and implements solutions from value stream data analysis including capability, capacity (e.g. supplier performance), throughput, workflow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time).
  • Applies project management techniques and concepts to product teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle that meets program requirements. 
  • Leads as the primary consultant to establish requirements for developing KPIs used in BDS Digital Navigator.
  • Coordinates all activities for subject matter experts. 
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership. 
  • Manage solutions to problems and make decisions.
  • Communicate status on projects and system health. Collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Drives execution of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and supports the overall work statement, deliverables, operating rhythm, and communications across the program organization.
  • Ensures alignment and standardization on deliverables across the team.  
  • Quality Check first time quality for deliverables.
  • Progress advanced technological ideas and guides the development to completion to enhance the organization's capability.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location supporting VC25B Program.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing, maintaining, and debugging complex stored procedures using T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience gathering and analyzing data.
  • Proficient in at least one analytics visualization application (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other technical degree

Summary pay range: Min: $126,650 – Max: $171,350
