Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Associate or Experienced) (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our BCA Supply Chain Contracts & Sourcing - Interiors team in Everett, Washington.

The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to manage suppliers throughout the world. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will manage complex work packages in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public.

Primary duties include managing relationships with external companies and internal stakeholders. Duties may include managing competitive bids, negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. This individual will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) working within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Some travel may be required for this position. (Less than 10% domestic/international travel may be required).

This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.

  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.

  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain management

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 1+ years of experience with reviewing, analyzing, and understanding, contractual documents

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1+ years of experience developing proposal, contracts or legal documents

  • 1+ years of experience in negotiations

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain or Contract Administration roles

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience: Associate (Level 2): Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 3): Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Associate Level (Level 2): $67,606 - $82,629

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $83,647 - $102,235
