Position Summary

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is a professional in charge of developing, optimizing and maintaining the manufacturing processes which play an important role in providing safe coverage and compliance with the quality specifications of the products we ship to our customers. The Process Engineer ensures that operational control is applied for each product and process.

Your Role

  • Attend "MSD" events and ensure that the process manufacturing flow is designed to meet the plant standard.
  • Participate in the support of meeting FTQ ,Up time & Scrap goals for each process.
  • Apply statistical process control tools to launch manufacturing processes.
  • Develop, evaluate and implement welding, adhesive and final assembly process equipment.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, Sustainability, and energy management requirements and report any situations that may affect.
  • Participate in Near Miss and Kaizen programs.
  • Comply with the training program assigned to the function.
  • Maintain an ethical and professional conduct in all activities developed as part of their work.
  • Comply with the Internal Work Regulations and plant policies.
  • Comply with customer requirements to ensure a 100% quality product.
  • Comply with the responsibilities and functions that are assigned according to organizational changes and / or current needs of the company.

Skills

  • Knowledge of PCB cutting, adhesive dispensing, wave & selective soldering, final assembly, Epson robot, vision systems and final assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of applied statistical techniques
  • Knowledge of core tools and interacting with the quality system
  • Leadership skills for the development of continuous improvement projects and implementation of standard activities in manufacturing equipment & processes.
  • Ability & knowledge to develop maintenance tasks for new equipment.

Your Background

  • Engineering degree preferably in one of the following areas: Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Mechanics,
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams computer packages.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers, peers and local and remote technical support groups.
  • Ability to program software on adhesive and assembly inspection equipment
  • Interpretation of electronic and pneumatic diagrams. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in English language
  • Knowledge of structured troubleshooting techniques
