The Role

We require a proactive individual that has a focus on quality and is able to provide first class payroll support to the HR department which enables the team to achieve its missions and meet its responsibilities to the people it employs by supporting their output and the achievement of business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the end to end payroll processing of EMEA payrolls

  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data

  • Reviews data feeds from HR system, ensuring fixed data changes are made in the payroll system and data remains consistent across the two systems

  • Work closely with the payroll vendor and other third parties to ensure a smooth monthly process

  • Administers employees’ benefits including liaison with relevant suppliers

  • Provides payroll and benefits reports to HR and Finance

  • Maintains the internal Payroll Procedures manual, updating any changes in process and documenting new processes

  • Responds to complex payroll questions from cross-functional departments and employees, escalating as needed

  • Ensure best practice in day to day activities

  • Continue to optimize business processes

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of all aspects of payroll (Germany) along with previous experience in managing outsourced payroll suppliers

  • Driven to develop and learn new skills

  • The role requires you to be able to liaise across a number of work locations in an efficient and timely manner

  • Identifying and subsequently implementing payroll improvement processes

  • Professional experience in Payroll/HR environment

  • Strong payroll and benefits knowledge

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

  • English Advanced language skills
