Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (level 3) Fleet Program Manager to join our dynamic 737 Fleet Support team in Seattle, Washington, Everett Washington or Seal Beach, California.

The Procurement Agent will engage with operators, suppliers and internal organizations.  Fleet Program Managers are operators first line in working with a sophisticated web of suppliers that provide some of the most critical components. Fleet Program Manager engage in customers top reliability, safety, cost and delivery issues for supplier components. 

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management.

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • Support Fleet Chief Office and in-service airline customers to resolve in-service technical and commercial issues.

  • Ensure integration and collaboration with stakeholders, including Program, Contracts, Customer Support, Design Engineering, Production Supply Chain, Value Stream Integration, Warranty, and Boeing Global Services (BGS). 

  • Utilize supply chain experience to remove roadblocks, drive resolution of issues, and increase stakeholder trust and satisfaction.

  • Engage with airline customers to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and airplane reliability.

  • Be responsible for the management and resolution of top fleet issues for assigned program.  Engage in complex technical issues. 

  • Use effective communication and project management best practices. 

  • Develop supply chain presentation materials for use at Program meetings, Fleet Team Conferences, Airline Executive Review Meetings (ERM) and Technical Review Meetings (TRM).

  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 15% of the time

  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics and/or project management processes

  • 3+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SOW)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working across multiple programs and locations

  • 5+ years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects or complex technical issue

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $79,900-$108,100
