Are you an accomplished MET Technician with a proven track record in automotive repair? We are seeking a skilled individual to fill this rewarding position.
About the Job:
As an experienced MET Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing mechanical and body work on assigned jobs
- Disassembling vehicles to prepare them for the panel shop
- Conducting thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Collaborating with the Parts Team to order replacement parts
- Reassembling vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition and to vehicle and BSI PAS 10125 standards
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Substantial experience as an MET Technician in the accident repair industry
- A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work skillfully and safely under pressure
- Effective time management skills to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Compliance with manufacturers' specifications and adherence to high standards
- Strong teamwork abilities and the initiative to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Flexibility in approach and a commitment to maintaining customer satisfaction
- Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, including proper use of provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas
