Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Manufacturing Planner to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The successful candidate will join the Production Engineering organization, supporting the 777/777X Mechanical Systems project – Flight Deck, Flight Control, Hydraulics, Environmental Control Systems (ECS).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Secondary Technical School Diploma with Manufacturing or Mechanics Technologist profile
  • 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications.
  • English language level – intermediate or higher
  • Existing rights to work in Ukraine

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 2 or more years’ experience with aerospace build plan knowledge, experience with entire value stream of detail part to assembly integration value stream.
  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations. 
  • Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
  • Knowledge in IVT, CDS, PDM/CAPP, CDS, Web-based resources
  • Experience in Mechanical Systems – Flight Deck, Flight Control, Hydraulics, ECS.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing technical related issues.
  • Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
  • Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Reviews integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Supports other team members as mentor/checker to meet engineering commitments.
  • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience).
