Industrialization/Equipment Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Supplier management

Identify and qualify new suppliers to maintain loading and competitive pricing

Communication and training to ensure consistent application of standards

Coordinate of key projects

Feedback to suppliers and purchasing

Approved supplier matrix

Disciplined process.

2.Standards development and application

Develop new standards & specifications as needed

Maintain and update existing standards based on lessons learned and CI projects

Coach and train the AME and plant teams on standards

Ensure standards are documented and accessible by users

3.Project execution

Coach AMEs through development of specifications - using standard templates

Review quotes & proposals

Facilitate vendor selection with focus on capability and loading

Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings

Provide install and troubleshooting support as needed

4.Focus on uptime

Truly drive MTTF and MTTR into equipment design

Collect data on current standard equipment and create improvement roadmap

Develop standard contingency plans by design for core equipment

Develop standard PMs for core equipment

Design for easy troubleshooting and recovery

Incorporate condition monitoring / predictive technologies where practical

5.New technology application

Identify potential technologies to improve current performance or increase automation

Assess new technology

Lead/support pilot projects

Define industrialization standards around new technology

6.Drive continuous improvement

Cost reduction

Complexity reduction - ease of ownership for plan teams

7.Controls engineer development program
