WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are looking for a Talented Product Owner to lead the BEV Powerpack to deliver our propulsion systems of the future for our world class portfolio of products. You will be working with JLR’s partner organisation in the delivery of their vehicle using JLR’s electric vehicle platform.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and real-world experience, distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to define a completely new product within JLR working with a supportive team with the newest technologies.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Defining the vision and convey this vision to the squad.
  • Set and drive delivery direction (for the squad) through prioritisation of work by being the central decision maker for priorities based on business and customer impact.
  • You’ll be collaborating closely with key stakeholders in own Group (POs, GL), other Groups & customers.
  • Establish/Facilitate/Participate in key agile ceremonies including showcases across co-located & virtual teams.
  • You’ll own and manages the product backlog.
  • Supports the squad in resolving issues / blocks and challenges.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is heard at the squad level.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Engineering experience of Battery Electric Vehicle Propulsion systems and system integration experience
  • Experience of managing projects across diverse teams and an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience of leading on resolving issues
  • Experience of resolving backlogs in tools such as Confluence & JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies.
  • You'll be highly organised, disciplined, flexible and self-motivated.
  • Finally you will be a decisive person with the ability to demonstrate a collabortive, engaging and results driven approach.
