GPO L2+ Vehicle Systems Engineer

As Vehicle System Engineer, you will be part of a cross system and architecture team. Your will contribute to Aptiv platform development, where your main responsibilities are the following:

  • Collects and maintains needed customer specifications and applicable regulations for each vehicle product. (SYS.1 Activities).
  • Specifies and describes the functional specifications (at vehicle and sub-system levels) (SYS.2 Activities).
  • Design system architecture and identify which system requirements are to be allocated to which elements of the system (SYS.3 Activities).
  • Identifies and creates the use cases of the vehicle system and documents the expected behavior of the vehicle for each scenario.
  • Ensures the defined expected behavior of the vehicle is feasible and legal by means of theoretical physics equations or vehicle simulations.
  • Ensures requirements are traceable, complete, concise, concrete, and verifiable.
  • Aligns the allocation of requirements to subsystems with the vehicle architecture.
  • Applies and improves systems tool chain / process/ method development.

Your background:

  • Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related R
  • Knowledge in ASPICE R
  • More than 2 years of experience and knowledge in requirement engineering and its tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, etc.). R
  • Team player, highly motivated, flexible, and well organized
  • Good abstraction and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Experience in automotive industry R
  • Good knowledge of the automotive market technical solutions P
  • Several hardware or software projects experience P
  • Ability to travel P
