Fleet Sales Manager (Switzerland)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to strengthen the national team, reporting to the Head of Sales B2B, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the B2B space and channels, a comprehensive knowledge of B2B customer requirements, and a proven track record in sales, account management, and relationship-building within the automotive sector. Additionally, the candidate should possess a well-established network in the automotive industry and have experience operating on a national level. This role is critical to establishing, maintaining, and expanding our relationships with key clients, achieving sales targets, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Key Account Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture enduring relationships with key automotive clients, leveraging your industry-specific experience, your network, and your national reach.
  • Actively prospect National KA, introducing the GM Europe B2B offer
  • Timely respond to customer requests for proposal, liaising with HQ functions as required
  • Manage the relation with long-term leasing companies, promoting GME's offer with Fleet Decision Makers and User Choosers.
  • Business travel required 3-4 days per week

2. Customer Support and Satisfaction:

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and issues, harnessing your expertise, network, and national coverage to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to resolve operational or technical challenges.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products and services in alignment with client expectations.

3. Contract Management:

  • Leverage your knowledge of B2B customer requirements to negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts on a national level.
  • Monitor contract compliance and renewals, ensuring the continuity of business relationships.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Harness your data-driven insights, network, and national perspective to prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for key accounts.
  • Maintain the CRM system up to date
  • Analyze data to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth at a national level.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Automotive Key Account Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the B2B space and a deep understanding of B2B customer requirements within the automotive sector.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated results-oriented approach with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • A well-established network in the automotive industry with a national scope.
