JOB DESCRIPTION
Financial Analyst Responsibilities and duties:
- Financial Analyst will process payroll timely and accurately for hourly associates
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Thoroughly audit payroll reports each pay period
- Weekly reconciliation of payroll
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
- Payroll entry postings
- Prepare reporting to analyze OT trends
- Productivity initiative; Saving realization, Special Projects
- Capital maintenance to include:
- Preparing Capital Appropriations Requests (CAR) for projects
- Tracking project spending
- Work Fixed Asset team in Project Capitalization
- Resolve A/R issues with the BBC
- Resolve A/P issues with the BBC
- Resolve Non-production vendor issues
- Depreciation
- P&L account analysis
- Sarbanes Oxley compliance monitoring
- Monthly Statistic and allocations upload to Hyperion Financial Management and Better Business Process systems
- Monthly Journal entries
- Actual reporting on all above topics
- Profit plan data for all above topics
- Forecast data for all above topics
- Outlook data for all above topics
Qualifications
- BS or BA in accounting/finance
- Minimum three years accounting experience
- Good to excellent Excel skills
- SAP experience preferred
- Hyperion or HFM experience
- SOX - Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience preferred
