Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Production Coordinator (Level C) to support the Tooling and Equipment Team on the Flightline based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Successful candidates will issue tools and move equipment with a tug or forklift on the flightline to and from the airplanes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.

  • Monitors and analyzes work in process

  • Updates status of tools, materials and equipment using automated systems

  • Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure tool and equipment availability.

  • Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with tools, materials and equipment to maintain inventory and system accuracy

  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

  • Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed

  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs; Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; Occasional carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, walking, standing, balancing; Frequent reaching overhead and at or above shoulder; Frequent sitting; Frequent climbing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with inventory control

  • 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System

  • 3+ years of experience moving equipment with tugs and forklift

Typical Education/Experience: 
Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED) and 4 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
