European Internal Sales Assistant

Employment Overview

  • Position will provide business support cover for a 4-month period due to maternity leave and report to the Procurement Manager.
  • Location will be Trafford Park Manchester Offices.
  • Hours of work, 8.30am until 5.30pm, 1 hour lunch break.
  • Salary - TBC

Job Description

  • Order planning AAG European orders.
  • Securing on time orders from European business units.
  • Demand planning, supplier, and UK business allocations in line with Procurement Directors guidance.
  • Allocation of European orders across UK warehouse network.
  • Liaising with global factory network and securing on time supply.
  • Providing regular order progress updates, production planning, ETD and ETA information via inbound reporting.
  • Supply chain management, tracking both ocean containers and road truck freight.
  • Daily contact with UK branch network, securing timely despatches of road trucks to European customers.
  • Securing and presenting commercial invoices via supplier and AAP processes.
  • Presenting documentation to support the global movement of freight such as CI, PL, CO, DGN, Insurance etc.
  • Planning smooth receipt of cargo, liaising with suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarder and customers.
  • Price checking deliveries.

Other Duties

  • Assisting Procurement Team with numerous daily activities.
  • Assisting CSV & Commercial Teams with various ad-hoc requests.
