We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team and take a pivotal role in managing ORACLE- and/or MS-SQL-Databases operations in Germany. If you have a strong background in databases, project management experience, and expertise with ORACLE and/or MS-SQL, we encourage you to apply.
These challenges await you:

Manage ORACLE and/or MS-SQL-Databases operations in Germany.

Oversee databases across sites within the ITC team.
-
Lead IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
-
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
-
Handle databases, update processes and analyze for performance bottlenecks.
-
Act as 2nd line support for 1st line databases support (external and internal).
-
Collaborate on database configuration changes for improved performance.
-
Administer databases, including task scheduling, scripting, and user management.
-
Cooperate with DRP teams in order to perform DRPs, DRP tests, test results.
-
Supervising the operation (daily monitoring, status in OMS, log analysis, etc)
-
Perform root cause analysis for database incidents and implement corrective action plans.

Implement and manage database version upgrades, patching, and backup policies.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity rules and NDA.
You inspire us with that:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience in ORACLE and/or MS-SQL operations, specifically on Windows-based servers.

Project management experience is a plus

ORACLE or MS-SQL certification
-
Familiar with ORACLE licensing models

Good written and spoken communication skills in both German (B2 Level Mandatory) and English.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.
