Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Aircraft, Customer Support is currently seeking an Avionics Service Engineer to join the team located in Rzeszow, Poland.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with airline customers to address and resolve in-service airplane system issues related to Autoflight systems (ATA 22), for all Boeing commercial aircraft models
  • Monitors potential in-service risks and issues and manages appropriate mitigation plans to assure a successful entry into service
  • Verifies all related Customer Support products, including Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Wiring Design Manual (WDM) and Fault Isolation Manual (FIM),
  • Processes reports by coordinating with value stream stakeholders to determine technical resolution and recommend corrective action to the fleet.
  • This position is a part of a global Customer Support team covering 24/7 to support the entire fleet all around the world. Some shift work is expected in order to cover weekends and/or off-hours.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3+ years of Avionics systems work experience.
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, principles and methods in system layout development, component design and electrical system installation.
  • Ability to summarize results; develop conclusions and recommendations based on relevant data sources.
  • Familiarity with the main principles of data preparation and documentation used in aviation production (FAA, EASA).
  • Willingness to travel (c.a. 15% of the time).
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English at B2 level including technical language.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • Experience with Autoflight systems and some experience with the design or troubleshooting of Avionics Systems
  • Practical experience in engineering analysis (e.g. electrical, avionics, design, circuit).
  • Experience with the design or troubleshooting of Autoflight Systems.
