The Area Digital Manager (ADM) role at Porsche offers a unique and exhilarating opportunity to be at the forefront of digital innovation in the automotive industry. Your hands-on involvement in rolling out and implementing new tools within the Porsche Digital Ecosystem will not only enhance dealership operations but also elevate the Porsche luxury experiences for the customer.

As the key point of contact for dealers, you will guide them through an expanding array of digital assets, ensuring their successful adoption and utilization. Your insights and feedback will be instrumental in shaping the evolution of Porsche's digital products, directly influencing product management and development strategies. Your role is pivotal in establishing a robust support infrastructure, ensuring that dealers remain continuously engaged and successful with the new digital ecosystem. Primary Responsibilities

Porsche Digital Ecosystem Tool Roll-Out

  • Act as the primary point of contact responsible for the successful roll-out of Porsche Digital Ecosystem tools, specifically Porsche Finder and Porsche Center Website.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the national roll-out team to develop, strategize, and execute a comprehensive roll-out playbook, ensuring a seamless transition for dealers as they migrate from the managed website program and third-party Digital Retail to the Porsche Digital Ecosystem, incorporating Porsche Center Website and Finder.
  • Create a detailed migration plan encompassing all area dealers, aligning with national targets, and maintain oversight of the transition progress while providing regular progress reports.
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of the digital tool roll-out, including the seamless transfer of existing web pages, training of dealer personnel, and coordination of activities related to the go-live process.
  • Continuously provide valuable feedback on dealer transition processes to the national team, contributing to the ongoing optimization of the website transfer process.

 

On-going Proactive Dealer Success Management

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to define and measure dealer success, both technical and non-technical, across all dealerships within the Area. Offer guidance to dealership management to help them attain their designated targets.
  • Observe dealership process activities and the utilization of tools, delivering constructive feedback and training to enhance dealership processes.
  • Actively seek and compile feedback from dealerships on digital products, and offer recommendations to the PCNA Product Management team for further improvements.

Support National Dealer Digital Business team

  • Collaborate effectively with the dealership Sales Manager, Service Manager, and General Managers across all dealerships in the Area as a part of the DBC team. Facilitate the implementation of changes and quantifiable enhancements throughout the dealership's frontline staff, specifically focusing on the effective utilization of digital tools and technology.
  • Take charge of preparing and consolidating action plans, while also collecting and disseminating best practices among dealers, other Areas, and PCNA. This contributes to the continual improvement of digital tools and their impact.

 

Support Area Team on all Digital Initiatives

  • Conduct routine individual or joint dealer visits alongside the Field team, focusing on identifying opportunities for digital optimization and improving the utilization of the Porsche Digital Ecosystem.
  • Assist Porsche Dealers as appropriate to meet and exceed performance goals (e.g. Premier Dealer, Quarterly Performance Bonus, etc.) as it relates to digital topics.
  • Provide support to the AVP and regional team (RM and RASM), ensuring alignment with Marketing, AfterSales, and Customer Experience in all matters related to the Porsche Digital Ecosystem.

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, MIS or other relevant field from a leading institute of higher learning is required or the equivalent amount of relevant work experience.
  • A Master’s Degree is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Five or more years’ experience in automotive marketing consulting or software training in a dealership, OEM environment or software/agency vendor are required.
  • Retail automotive experience in the luxury segment and / or experience in consulting automotive retailers in digital sales and marketing strategy is a plus.

Percentage of required travel: 80% (domestic and international, overnight)

 

Position Location: The incumbent must reside within the assigned Sales Area and be able to report on short notice to the respective area office in Los Angeles, CA. 

The Hiring Range for this role is up to $120 - 125k annually plus bonus eligibility and company car with gas gard.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, move, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
