The Role
We´re looking for a Pentester. A strong cybersecurity professional responsible for testing the security of computer systems, networks, and applications that help us identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in Solera´s systems and provide recommendations for improving security measures.
What You’ll Do
- Work as a member of the Application Security Team to pentest APIs, Web Apps, Mobile Apps and Web Services.
- Collaborate with the Dev Team to remedate security vulnerabilties.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments
of computer systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security flaws. - Perform penetration testin
to identify weaknesses and assess their potential impact. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports outlining the findings, including recommended remediation steps
to reduce vulnerabilities and potential security risks. - Provide security improvements and strategies for enhancing the security posture of the tested systems (
implementing security patches, improving network configurations, or enhancing application security measures). - Stay on top of security trends.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Security/Cybersecurity, IT/Network Administration or in a related field is required.
- 1 year of professional experience, internships and/or participation in any project with Security is is highly beneficial for this role.
- Application security certification is desirable.
- Pentesting Apps using Burp Suite.
- Knowledge of Web Apps, API and mobile interface.
