AI Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Porsche Engineering Romania is currently looking for an AI Software Engineer to join the team!

You will work on projects that span technologies, systems and processes where you can contribute with your programming talent to design, test and ship high quality code. In this role, you will collaborate with both team members and clients, in order to build complex products that enable Porsche to deliver high quality and innovative customer experiences. As a team member, you will have to combine software engineering skills with research and innovation skills. We offer the possibility to be responsible for your own topics and drive them to completion together with local and remote colleagues.

  • You develop a reliable data pipeline for various topics in development
  • You write code to train various machine learning models and deploy them into working software, on various hardware platforms 
  • You design and deliver technical solutions to business and product problems
  • You take ownership of initiatives and drive them through completion 
  • You apply various algorithms and machine learning techniques to find the best solution 
  • You collaborate with international project teams, in a culture of well-intended reciprocal feedback 

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
  • You have knowledge of Python and its data science-specific libraries such as Scipy, Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Plotly, Matplotlib, and Jupyter notebooks
  • Your working experience with classical computer vision libraries like OpenCV is considered a plus
  • You have a good knowledge of linear algebra and calculus
  • You have working experience with Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, or other popular ML frameworks
  • Your working experience with time-series and document databases such as InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, MongoDB is considered a plus
  • You speak English very well, and the German language is considered a plus
