Introduction to the role
Join our dynamic team at Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE. We're searching for a Technical Excellence Specialist who embodies our
passion and drive for excellence. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring technical excellence across our diverse markets. You will serve
as a key liaison between our extensive network of authorized service and maintenance dealers, Porsche Middle East & Africa, and our head
office, driving technical innovation and excellence throughout our organization.
Job Responsibilities
• Technical Support for NEV/ICE vehicles, core competence field for new NEV vehicles (Macan BEV) and new technologies.
• Specialized technical support for NEV vehicles, infotainment systems, and smart mobility across the entire PME region.
Responsibilities include repairing Macan BEV and future NEV vehicles, supporting Smart Mobility hardware for the Porsche
Connect platform, implementing software updates for SDV vehicles, and troubleshooting infotainment connectivity and
interfaces.
• Support online market (PRMS Tickets) and Ticket Quality reporting by providing technical guidance and
repair assistance, collaborating with Porsche AG OEM technical experts when necessary. Offer online virtual
support sessions to assist markets facing prolonged diagnostic times. Aid the parts department with
technical parts inquiries and handle other ad hoc ticket requests. Monitor and report the quality of technical
PRMS ticket submissions and identify suspected repeat repairs for further review.
• Provide onsite technical support for repairs in markets, including diagnosing root causes of
Connect/infotainment software versus hardware issues, ICE vehicles, HV vehicles (including HV battery
repairs)
• After Sales System & Diagnosis Tester (PIWIS) Support: Provide hardware and software assistance for PIWIS
testers, user support, training for AS systems (PIWIS, PCSS, PRMS, etc.), and manage PIWIS Tester
contracts and licenses for the PME importer network.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
• Bachelor degree in Electric Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, IT car systems, R&D study programs or other relevant field of study.
• >7 Years of technical experience in automotive industry/retail organization, technical competence functions / R&D, positions in Electric
or Mechatronic field.
• Work experience in multi-cultural environments
• MS Office skills, Porsche systems, Infotainment / Connect car systems (frontend/backend).
• Technical Qualification (Gold Level) / High Voltage Technician.
• English – German,Arabic, French an advantage
